The airport Alexander The Great is located 23 km (14 miles) from Skopje city center. It is the main airport in Republic of Macedonia, serving flights from all Europe major destinations, and trough them to all over the world.
From the airport to Skopje you can travel by Bus (1 way ticket = 150 denars/2.4 euro) or you can rent a car or Taxi.

St. Paul the Apostle airport is located 9 km (5.6 miles) from the most popular tourist destination in Macedonia, the city of Ohrid, placed near the one of the oldest natural lakes in the world – The Ohrid Lake.

There are direct flights to Macedonia from:

Regular train service connects the Republic of Macedonia to Greece in the South and Serbia in the North up to Slovenia, by an international train. Stops include Tabanovce, Kumanovo, Skopje, Veles, Gradsko, Negotino, Demir Kapija and Gevgelija (greek border croosing point), as well as a few small villages. Getting around by train is a little slower than the other types of transport, but can much more comfortable.
There are a number of bus connections, which offer relatively inexpensive fares and professional service, and which connect Macedonia with all neighboring countries and major European cities.
The capital of Macedonia – Skopje is connected to the other countryside cities with frequent bus services to almost every city in the Republic.
